Family History Archive

We appreciate the many generous donations we have received in support of the Family History Archive and welcome your gift so that we may continue to build this unique and lasting archive.

While the infrastructure for the Family History Archive is provided and supported by Brigham Young University, your donations are used to hire student employees who digitize and process family histories to be added to the archive.

How to Contribute

To make a financial contribution to the Family History Archive, click here to go to BYU'S Annual Fund Page. For a secure donation, please click on "BYU" in the fund list. On the donation page, scroll down to the category “Specific Giving Opportunities” and select “Family History Archive” from the menu.

In the future

In a future phase of the project, individuals will be invited to contribute to the Family History Archive in two additional ways.

Donate an electronic copy of their family history to be permanently preserved in this archived collection.
Donate a printed copy of their family history with a contribution for digitizing and processing.
