Research Help
- Ask a Librarian: For quick answers, use the library’s “Ask a Librarian” link from the "Services" menu on the home page. This will give you options on how to contact a librarian, including by e-mail, telephone and in-person help at a reference desk. Or contact a subject librarian for personalized assistance.
- Research and Step-by-Step Guides: For prepared instructional guides, click on "Research Guides" from the "More" dropdown menu on the left of the page. These bibliographical guides cover a variety of topics and include research methodology and suggested research sources.
- Database Help: Read the descriptions of available databases by clicking the "i" icon, taking note of subject content and time periods covered, so that you select an appropriate database for your needs. Once connected to a database, review the research tips and search options available in its ?Help? section.
