Rare Books
Publication Date: Searching for rare books in the library catalog is no different than searching for ordinary books. In many cases, however, the library will own important works in many editions. To narrow your search for a particular edition, you can enter the publication date (if you know it) of the edition you’re looking for.
Genre: Another type of search that is helpful for rare books is the genre search, which allows you to look for various material types, such as books of hours.
