Reconsideration of Materials

Library collections are established and maintained to meet the instructional and research needs of the university.  Consistent with collection policy statements, the library exercises critical sensitivity in the acquisition of its materials. The library reserves the right to exclude or limit the use of materials that are deemed contrary to the norms and values of the university's sponsor, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As there exists a wide range of opinion in what has literary merit or deviates from LDS norms, patrons who find objectionable titles are requested to complete the following form.

Once the form has been completed and sent, the Assistant University Librarian for Collections & Technical Services will contact the complainant to discuss the request and possible solutions.
