Periodical in-house use is tracked by scanning items that have been deemed to have been used. This reflects paper use only.
Return Shelf Call Number Ranges
The breakdown detail for items processed from the Return shelves was not started until the fall of 2001 and varies slightly from the breakdown used for circulation and inventory tables included in this report. This is to better reflect reshelf activity on the various floors of the HBLL.
2nd Floor East
These items were moved from 5th floor during the year.
4th Floor
Return shelf Music & Dance and Asian are processed by Music and Asian personnel, not Circulation.
Philosophy & Religion B-BX
Religion mixed here until July 2005 when collection moved to 2nd East.
General Works A-AZ
The A's & Z's were moved to 5th South & 5th North respectively

Sampler counts began in November 2007.
